Club Titles Won:
East Kerry Senior League Titles in the years 1933, 36, 43, 44, 47, 50 and 53.
Senior Championship for the O'Donoghue Cup, first winners in 1954 and retained in 1955 and also won in 1967 and 1976.

East Kerry Junior League Titles in 1932, 34, 46, 54, 74 and 76.
In 1945 our Senior team played a draw in the County Final v Shannon Rangers.
Score Legion 1-06 Rangers 2-03.
The replay turned out to be an anti-climax for the Legion losing on a score of Rangers 1-07 Legion 0-05. This was the year Legion “had arrived and in doing so thrilled thousands”.
The following year 1946 all the pieces fell into place. In the county final, Legion defeated John Mitchell’s Tralee on a score of Legion 0-07 / Mitchell’s 0-05.

£203.00.
This meant that the club could nominate the captain of the Kerry team for the following year 1947. The honour went to Denny Lyne of Cleeney.
1993 was to prove a very successful year for the Club.The senior team won their way to the county League (Division One) football final. In the final played in the Fitzgerald Stadium on Sunday 14th November.
Legion met old rivals Dr. Crokes. In these years Dr. Crokes had been tremendously successful and were County and All-Ireland Club Champions.
All this success made Dr. Crokes favourites.
Legion who were starved of County success since 1946 were also keen to win. Legion led from the start and the game ended in a welter of excitement as Crokes almost pulled off a 'Houdini' like act taking a one point lead in the 59th minute. Legion showed great character in battling back and were rewarded when John McGillicuddy blasted the ball to the Crokes net. In so doing writing his name into the Club's history books so securing a well merited win for the Legion.

On the day Legion had to line out without the services of full back Denis O'Mahony and wing forward Cathal O'Grady because of injury.

The following year 1994 the club were again to win a County competition for the first time. This was the County Club title. In the final which was delayed until Saturday March 18th 1995. Legion played Waterville in Austin Stack Park Tralee. Legion knew they had to win to secure their place in the hat for that years Senior County Championships. Lose and they would have to
amalgamate with others. Win they did but not without being made battle all the ways by a brave Waterville outfit.
